Through the SUNY New Paltz summer abroad in Urbino, there were not many structured excursions. As a result, my friends and I took it upon ourselves to create our own excursions. We went to see the Duomo in Florence, and Venice on our own. Also, Urbino is located near two very popular ocean-front club scenes-Riccione and Rimini. A few of the weekends, I hitched rides with my new Italian friends and visited these beautiful beaches.
